Dan’s Trailer

Dan's Trailer

It’s amazing what the desert coughs up when you least expect it. Dan’s trailer was parked at the top of a small hill between two magnificent small mountain ranges just off of the Colorado River in Arizona. It shown like a beacon of uniquosity from a bygone dream. I shot this photograph just as the sun was about to hide behind the western ridge with the storm clouds rolling through on their way to Colorado or New Mexico with their life giving moisture.

The next morning I was shooting the trailer at dawn and Dan saw me, came outside and proclaimed that he couldn’t escape the paparazzi! We both laughed and he told me the story of how he acquired this little rolling piece of history in Maine and pulled it all the way across the country so I could shoot it in all of it’s glory and offer it to you as a limited edition postcard for a donation.

Enjoy!

Summer dreams of freedom and power as the impotent empire crumbles into the dust of history. Well, it was a lot of fun while it lasted. May the next iteration be even better and may we always keep the ability to dream alive and well.
