Warm Fuzzies

October 15, 2008

Well, it wasn’t warm and these aren’t particularly fuzzie if you get up close and personal with them, but they sure LOOK fuzzie, don’t they? The wonders of the desert in the pre-dawn light.

Let me send you a postcard of these fuzzies…

Privacy Please

A very secure and very abandoned lot in Salton City. Like most of this strange world of broken dreams and saline sorrows.

Let me send you a post card print of this little bit of the strangeness of the human condition.

Soft Harsh

October 14, 2008

In the early morning glow…

Just in case you can’t hear them, there is a large pack of coyotees yipping and howling in glee over something or other just outside of the frame of the camera lens by a 100 yards or less. There. Yes… I knew you’d be able to hear them if you listened carefully enough.

Buy a postcard of this image, or several. I’ll sign them for you even.

This morning it was frigid, and clear and inviting (well, except for that frigid part) and so I found myself and my camera exporing the soft early dawn light in a mountainous high-desert part of the Sonoran Desert near Kingman. This and a couple of other shots resulted. And tonight will be a full moon. I’m thinking of climbing a nearby mountain to capture that. If I don’t freeze to death. Wish me good shooting!

Please let me know if I can send you a high resolution, limited edition, signed postcard of this image. It would make my day.
